Emirates, based in Dubai, is along with Etihad Airways one of two flag carriers of the United Arab Emirates. It is the largest airline in the Middle East in terms of revenue, fleet size and passengers carried and operates over 3500 flights per week from its hub at Dubai International Airport, to more than 142 cities in 78 countries.Emirates operates four of the world's longest non-stop commercial flights from Dubai to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston. In 2013 The airline was voted Airline of the Year and has built a strong name for itself in the aviation industry as a leader in terms of excellent service, consistent profitability and rapid growth.
