Ryanair's popup shop.
Ryanair tries a new approach with a popup shop in Manchester centre.
Ryanair, the controversial airport has a new marketing strategy, opening its first ever pop up shop in Manchester. Customers can browse flights and book right there in the physical premises.
Open for four weeks, it’s not clear if the Ryanair shop is a trial effort, or if it’s something that’ll keep on going and going. Ryanair says if any customer finds a cheaper flight to or from Manchester, it will pay back double the difference. If you head along to the shop at Unit C, 111 Piccadilly you might even be lucky enough to win their competition.
From Manchester, Ryanair’s Michael Cawleyu said: “If any passenger finds a cheaper flight to/from Manchester during the four weeks the store is open, we will refund double the difference – we won’t be beaten on price – while we’ll also be giving away a return flight for two, every day, to amazing European destinations, including Budapest, Dublin, Faro, Oslo and Riga.”
