We had a lovely time in Portugal although I could have done it with couple of extra days -;) Very pleasant weather and really enjoyed the sunshine 16C. It rained on evening and cooled down when it was windy but apart from that forecast was great. Not like here with never ending rain and wind....
Eden resort = Heaven on Earth as they call it. Its like a mini village with hundreds of apartments out of town. It takes 30min to walk into the town and there is a free shuttle bus 4 times a day. They have an indoor and outdoor pools, mini market (very poor choice though) snack bar, restaurant etc.... We have had an amazing apartment, very quiet, fully equipped (even with dishwasher) clean and beautiful, two balconies, clean towels everyday etc. Transfer was spot on but beach is far away from Eden resort.

Albufeira itself it is a very commercial city, the old town is lovely but we did not bother to visit new town as didn't seem very interesting. There is no way I would go there in the summer! It was really quiet now so it was good time to go there. And yes it was worth to walk 30min forth and back this time, as we had a lovely accommodation. Portugal people are very friendly though they like to receive tip everywhere. The orange grove were amazing!
We went for a day trip to Seville in Spain and Lagos. And yes Lagos is a beautiful city so highly recommend a visit if you wish to go there or recommend to your customer.
